Bajwa Was Looking For Another Extension From Nawaz Sharif

Reports suggest that Pakistan Army Chief Bajwa may be granted another extension, though speculation has been dismissed by the Army. The extension could be between six months and three years. 

The speculation began after a reported meeting between Bajwa and PMLN supremo Nawaz Sharif in London early this month. In June 2020, former Prime Minister Imran Khan granted Bajwa an extension for five months before his term was due to end.
