UAE Launches Online Service for Birth and Death Certificates

The UAE has launched an online service for birth and death certificates that allows residents to request new certificates, re-issue lost ones, and obtain accurate records of births and deaths throughout the country. The service is designed to simplify procedures and provide efficient service.

How to get a birth certificate in UAE


To get a birth certificate in the UAE, you can submit an application through the e-system and pay the fee. You can also submit a request through TAMM Platform or Mobile Application, upload the required documents, pay the applicable fees, and receive the digital birth certificate. The cost of attesting a birth certificate is AED 60 for expats (excluding typing center charges) and AED 50 for UAE citizens. 

To apply for a birth certificate, visit https://mohap.gov.ae/en/services/issue-of-a-birth-certificate and click on "Apply Now". Birth Certificate Attestation is mandatory to get a resident visa in UAE if your child is born in UAE or any other country.
