The Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) is a Sikh terrorist entity that aims to establish an independent Sikh state in what is presently the Indian state of Punjab.

Starting in the early 1980s, radical separatists spearheaded a bloody campaign to carve out an independent, theocratic Sikh state known as Khalistan. The Indian government has targeted radical Sikh groups overseas with help from UK and Canada.
