Imran Khan was in touch with General Bajwa but on the other hand Faza ur Rehman was against Bajwa. Bajwa and Fazal ur Rehman met each other in a furious way.

General Bajwa and Maulana Fazlur Rehman met each other during Imran's era to discuss the Azadi March. After a no-confidence vote against Imran, they had another meeting in November 2021 when Imran yielded to Gen Bajwa. This was part of a 20-day confrontation between them that ended with Imran signing a notification for his resignation on April 9, 2022.
